Marisa Crawford is the author of The Haunted House, a collection of poems about girlhood & ghosts that was the winner of the 2008 Gatewood Prize and published by Switchback Books in 2010.
Marisa grew up in New York and Connecticut, got her BA from UMass Amherst and her MFA in Poetry from San Francisco State. She’s an editor of Small Desk Press and a writing mentor for Girls Write Now. She lives in Brooklyn.
